A lifelong
Texan, Arnold and his wife, Lori, lived in Galveston where
his law practice began prior to moving to League City in
1990. At that time, Arnold joined the Houston law firm of
Ross, Banks, May, Cron & Cavin, P.C., where he has practiced
continually since that time as a member of the Governmental
Law section. Lori is enjoying success as a small business
owner in Webster and their children, now living on their
own, still call League City home. Arnold and Lori share a
common goal that League City remain the high quality
community that it has come to be.
Arnold was
recently bestowed the honor of an AVŠ rating from
Martindale-Hubbell, the national rating service for
attorneys. Coinciding with Arnold’s twentieth year of
practice, an AV rating is the highest possible rating and
identifies a lawyer as having very high to preeminent legal
ability, and is a reflection of the lawyer’s expertise,
experience, integrity, and overall professional excellence.
It is those qualities which Arnold plans to bring to public
service as your Councilperson.
Arnold
received his bachelor’s degree in political science from St.
Mary’s University of San Antonio and his law degree from the
University of Texas at Austin. He has written and lectured
at numerous continuing legal education seminars and has
presented oral argument before the U. S. Court of Appeals
for the Fifth Circuit, most recently on behalf of the City
of League City.
